The Master of Science in Multimodal Transportation is designed to cultivate proficient professionals capable of designing, implementing and assessing multimodal transportation and logistics strategies. Upon completion of the Master’s degree, students will demonstrate proficiency in the design of an optimized multimodal logistics network for a multinational company. This design will take into account factors such as demand, supply, and geographical restrictions.
Students will be equipped with the skills necessary to implement a transportation management system, thereby enhancing the operational efficiency of a logistics company.
Students will be able to assess the environmental impact of various multimodal transportation options and propose sustainable solutions
Students will be able to manage projects that entail the implementation of new technologies in the transport sector, such as warehouse automation or the use of autonomous vehicles
Through the research process, students will be empowered to develop international and national regulations applicable to the transport of dangerous goods and the safety of containers and other cargo.
